Mathur will play a key role in shaping and executing the company’s strategic vision, developing a roadmap aligned with business objectives, and sustaining the brand’s momentum, according to a company statement.

Mathur brings over 30 years of experience across industries like telecommunications and office automation, with a focus on profitability enhancement, brand development, and retail transformation. He has previously held leadership roles as Managing Director of Motorola Mobility India and Country Head of Lenovo Mobile Business Group, where he drove significant growth for both brands. He also played a key role at Sony Ericsson, establishing the brand as a leader in mobile handsets and launching its Global R&D Centre in Chennai. Additionally, Mathur has led LG Mobiles and founded Shoptalk, a venture focused on improving consumer engagement for top brands.
