Connell Caldic, a leading marketer and distributor of specialty ingredients and chemicals in the Asia-Pacific region, has appointed Vishal Jawale as its Managing Director – India and Regional Director – South Asia.
Vishal brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having held leadership positions across prominent organizations in the specialty chemicals and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to joining Connell Caldic, Vishal served as Managing Director of DKSH India, where he spearheaded strategic initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence in the Business Unit Performance Materials segment since January 2022. Before this, he was Industrial Director, South Asia, Pharmaceutical Industry at DKSH India, a role he held for nearly eight years.
Vishal’s career journey also includes tenure at BASF India, where he joined in 2010 as Sales Manager for Pharma Ingredients and Services. His responsibilities involved channel partner management and collaborating with regional and global offices to craft effective sales and marketing strategies. Earlier in his career, Vishal worked with Voltas Chemicals Division as Manager, Pharma Development, and began his professional journey as a Senior Territory Manager at Eli Lilly & Co. India in 2000.
An accomplished professional, Vishal holds a graduate degree in Pharmacy and an MBA from Pune University’s Department of Management Sciences. He has further enhanced his credentials with a Master’s diploma in Pharmaceutical Management.
