JPMorgan Chase Bank India has announced the appointment of Pranav Chawda as its Chief Executive Officer, following approval from the Reserve Bank of India for a three-year term.
Chawda, a seasoned banker and Chartered Accountant, has been with JPMorgan since 2019, where he led the commercial banking division. His responsibilities will now expand to include both the commercial and corporate banking sectors, as part of the firm’s efforts to streamline operations and enhance client service in India.
Prior to joining JPMorgan, Chawda served as Managing Director for Institutional Banking at DBS Bank in India. He began his career in 1995 as an Assistant Manager at Deloitte and has over two decades of experience in the financial sector, specializing in serving mid-sized, India-headquartered companies.
