Xiaomi India, a global technology leader, has announced the appointment of Sandeep Singh Arora as its Chief Business Officer. This strategic move highlights Xiaomi India’s dedication to enhancing its leadership team to drive business growth, expand market presence and build impactful partnerships.
In his new role, Sandeep will lead Xiaomi India’s business development initiatives, focusing on revenue growth, cultivating strategic partnerships and enhancing the company’s market footprint. His extensive experience in product marketing, category management, retail operations and brand strategy positions him as a pivotal addition to the organization.
Sandeep brings over 30 years of expertise in managing and growing consumer brands across diverse industries. Before joining Xiaomi India, he served as the Head of the Online Business Unit and later as the Head of Marketing Communications for Samsung India’s Consumer Electronics division. He also held senior leadership roles, including Vice President of Marketing at Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times of India Group), Category Director and Executive Vice President of Marketing at PepsiCo India and key leadership positions at Unilever. His extensive experience in driving strategic growth and innovation will play a critical role in navigating Xiaomi India through the evolving market landscape.
Sandeep holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management and Marketing from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. His academic background and professional expertise equip him to drive transformative strategies that align with Xiaomi’s vision of growth and innovation.
