CEAT has announced the appointment of Debashish Roy as its Chief Digital Transformation Officer. Roy will report directly to Amit Tolani, Chief Executive of CEAT Specialty, and will spearhead the company’s digital innovation initiatives to enhance customer experiences and drive growth across global markets.
With over 15 years of experience in digital transformation and innovation, Roy brings a wealth of expertise in crafting business models, implementing advanced data analytics, and developing IT strategies. An engineering graduate with a management degree in IT and operations from IIM Mumbai, Roy has successfully collaborated with teams across India, North America, Europe, and Emerging Asia.
Before joining CEAT, Roy served as the Director of Digital Transformation & Customer Experience at Pfizer Ltd., where he introduced cutting-edge digital and IT solutions to strengthen the organization’s digital infrastructure. His impressive career includes leadership roles at Abbott India Ltd., PwC US Advisory and Cognizant Business Consulting, where he managed large-scale transformation projects focused on sustainable growth.
Roy’s professional accomplishments span diverse domains such as data-driven decision-making, program management, product and process innovation, omnichannel customer experiences and cross-functional team leadership. His contributions to digital transformation have been widely recognised, earning him accolades such as the CX Leader Award at the World CX Summit and the Leading CIO of the Year Award at the CII CIO Excellence Awards in 2024.
