ShareChat, India’s largest homegrown social media company, has announced the appointment of Nitin Jain as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, Nitin will oversee the development and application of technology across both the ShareChat and Moj platforms.
Nitin is a seasoned technology leader with over two decades of experience in transforming concepts into impactful platforms with global reach. His expertise spans advertising, e-commerce, fintech, and advanced data analytics. Nitin has played a pivotal role in building and scaling tech businesses from scratch at globally renowned companies such as Tokopedia, Gojek, and most recently, TikTok. He is known for nurturing high-performing teams and leveraging cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, blockchain, and modern DevOps practices.

Nitin holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys exploring philosophy, modern physics, and genetics, and has a growing passion for scuba diving.
