WelcomHeritage has announced the appointment of Ashutosh Chhibba as its Chief Executive Officer. With over three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Chhibba brings a wealth of expertise in luxury and business hospitality, strategic leadership and operational excellence.
Chhibba began his career with ITC Hotels in 1992, where he played a pivotal role in leading renowned properties such as Welcomgroup Chola Sheraton, ITC Kakatiya, ITC Maurya and ITC Mughal. His extensive background spans both leisure and business segments, with a strong emphasis on managing owned properties across multiple locations, including Riyadh, Aurangabad and Hyderabad.
His international experience includes overseeing the launch and operations of the acclaimed Dumpukht restaurant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, showcasing his ability to drive excellence in diverse global markets. His leadership is characterized by a deep understanding of market trends, operational efficiency and a commitment to enhancing guest experiences.
Beyond his operational expertise, Chhibba is dedicated to continuous learning and innovation. He has completed the Revenue Management Programme at Cornell University, USA and the Sales & Marketing Exposure Programme at IIM Bangalore, equipping him with advanced skills in revenue optimization, sales strategies and marketing innovations.
As he takes the helm at WelcomHeritage, Chhibba is expected to lead the brand into a new phase of growth, leveraging his extensive experience to elevate operational standards, enhance guest engagement and strengthen the company’s position in the heritage hospitality segment.
